Photo Contest Artist Reception
Friday, September 7 (5:00pm - 7:00pm)
Come celebrate the winners of the Photo Contest and view their work! The Photo Contest theme is Discovering Nature in Washington.
Contest entries will be accepted through August 28.
Categories:
- Landscape
- Wildlife
- Macro (Close-up Photography)
- People in Nature
Each category will have entries further divided into the following groups: youth, adult amateur and adult professional. Descriptions of each group listed in the Eligibility section of the rules.
Submissions:
- The deadline for submissions is 5:00pm, August 28, 2012.
- Entry is free.
- Entries must be framed
- Read complete submission guidelines
Winners will be announced on the Tacoma Nature Center website by September 4, 2012. All winners will also be notified via email by the same date.
The exhibition of the winning photographs in each category will be at the Tacoma Nature Center from September 4 – December 15, 2012. Any entries not able to remain in the exhibition for the entire time will not be eligible for the contest.
A reception for the winners will be on Friday, September 7, 5-7 pm.
Certificates and ribbons will be awarded to all eligible participants with the winners in each category also receiving a prize package.
