Chili Chase
Saturday, February 23 (9:00am)
STAR Center is hosting its first annual 5K run and 1-mile Kid's Dash on February 23.
Participants will be able to enjoy a bowl of chili upon completion of the race.
The race will be chip-timed and the course will wind its way around the STAR Center and its neighboring Boys & Girls Club and Grey Middle School.

Course Map:
The course begins at the front of STAR and winds its way down the path behind the center and continues to wind around the ball fields. Runners will then follow the course in front of the Boys & Girls Club and up the steps to Gray Middle School. They will then complete a lap around the track and come back to the stairs. They will follow the path down the stairs and back the opposite direction on the path they came from. As they get to the back of STAR they will follow the path to the side of the building where the ponds are and cross over the bridge and finish in front of the center where they started.
Registration Fees:
Registration closes Wednesday, February 21 at 12 am for those who would like chip timing.
Adult 5K $30
Time: 9:30 am
Register before February 8 and receive a t-shirt and bowl of chili included in the registration fee. Those registering any later will still receive a bowl of chili but will not receive a t-shirt.
1-mile Kids' Dash $20
Time: 9 am

Registration Packet Pick-up:
Registration packets can be picked Friday, February 22 between 6 and 8 pm or the morning of the race. Packets will include chili voucher and t-shirts. If you are picking up your packet the morning of the race we recommend you come at least an hour before the race begins.
Day of Race:
There will be coat and bag check available the day of the race for participants only.
