It is the general policy of Metro Parks Tacoma to obtain quotes and bids for the purchase of materials, supplies and equipment in order to secure them at the lowest possible cost. Each department is responsible for their own procurement.

Roster businesses will be sent invitations to bid on projects that are not publicly advertised.
|APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING PROGRAM|
This Apprenticeship Training Program provides opportunities for workers to enter apprenticeship programs, acquire skills and perform work that provides living wages on Metro Parks Tacoma public works projects. Contractors must contract with state-approved apprentices for 15% of a project's total labor hour goal on qualifying public works contracts totaling $250,000 or more.
