Picnic Shelter Rental Sites will be available between April 1 and September 30 starting in 2013. Reservations may be made up to 365 days in advance.
2011-2012 Playground upgrades, access, fencing, picnic shelter, site furnishings, new water line, security lighting, replace barrier wall, and pave parking area. Work was funded by the Parks Improvement Bond Measure, approved by the citizens of Tacoma in November of 2005.

2010 - Soil was tested by Tacoma Pierce County Health Department for contamination with arsenic and lead associated with the Asarco Plume and no cleanup was needed. Glen Rollins (Tacoma Pierce County Health Department) was responsible for testing and Amy Hargrove (Dept. of Ecology) was in charge of the cleanup program.
