Metro Parks Tacoma

Natural Area Stewards

Today I will help beautify my neighborhood . . .

WHAT IS A NATURAL AREA STEWARD?
Natural Area Stewards are dedicated volunteers who are highly involved in planning and coordinating habitat restoration in their local park’s natural areas. They receive special training and resources, which means no prior experience necessary, only a desire to help restore our natural areas! Metro Parks Staff will work with each steward to create their restoration plan for their site of choice and is provided with the resources in which to organize volunteer events and carry out their restoration goals.
