Stay Cool!Tables and chairs will be set up in two of our air conditioned community resource centers, Peoples Center and Portland Avenue. Visitors are encouraged to bring table games or playing cards to complement social opportunities at these centers

Mon- Fri – 9:30am to 6:00pm
Sat – 10:00am to 1:30pm
Portland Avenue Community Resource Center
Mon-Thur – 9:00am to 8:00pm
Sat – 10:00am to 6:00pm
Centre at Norpoint
To provide cool areas for residents hard hit by current weather conditions, this membership based community center is temporarily providing complimentary day passes for Tacoma residents, in conjunction with projected extreme temperatures. Complimentary day passes are currently scheduled to be offered through August 1.
Centre Hours are:
Mon-Fri 5:30am-8:30pm
Sat 8am-7pm
Sun 11am-4pm
The day pass will also provide complimentary access to the pool during open swim times as follows:
M-F 8-9am (zero-depth side only)
M/W 2-4pm
M/W/F 6:30-8pm*
T/TH 1-5:30pm
F 2-4:30pm
SAT 1-4:30pm
SUN 1-3:30pm
