Sports Camps Drop-in Ultimate Frisbee Baseball/Fastpitch Basketball Soccer Flag Football Coaching Metro Parks Tacoma (MPT) Youth Sports provides recreational league play in five different sports during the year for boys and girls ages 5-15. Partners: MPT Youth Sports partners with South Puget Sound Boys and Girls Clubs (BGC) and Fircrest Recreation (Fr) to participate in the Northwest Youth Sports Alliance (NYSA).

Facilities:
In some sports, games and practices may occur in BGC or FR facilities. Otherwise, games and practices occur at MPT and/or Tacoma Public School facilities. Other partners may be added to the NYSA according to the different sports.

Coaches:
All teams are coached by volunteers who are background checked at national state levels. MPT Youth Sports staff also provides training for any individuals willing to coach. Teams and players are registered as coaches are available.

Sports Instruction:
MPT Youth Sports also provides instructional opportunities. Kidz Love Soccer and Skyhawk's Sports Academy are contracted instructors that provide sport instruction.

Kidz Love Soccer provides year-round instruction in multiple-week sessions.

Skyhawk's offers one week tennis camps during the summer months at Stadium High School and Point Defiance Park.

MPT staff also provide instructional camps during the summer for basketball, soccer, and flag football.
