What kind of Challenges will you encounter?
Well, if we told you, they wouldn't be all that challenging, would they?!
Here are a few examples to whet your appetite:
Climb Challenge
Choose 2 team members to gear up and climb to retrieve a puzzle piece. The remaining 2 team members must complete a "belay" test for remaining puzzle pieces. Points are awarded after of the puzzle is complete. If you have a 2-person team, you're both gearing up and climbing!
TRX Challenge
(Psssttt: TRX is Total Resistance Exercise). Team must complete a 12-minute TRX course that will be run every 15 minutes along the promenade. Points awarded upon completion of course.
Rock Skip Challenge
Team must successfully skip rocks off Owen Beach across Puget Sound. How many skips? Well, that depends on your age: Skips must equal/exceed 1/3 of your age, i.e. 21 year old must achieve 7 skips.
2 person team: Each member must successfully skip rocks equal to age, skips are added consecutively.
Obstacle Course Challenge
This is a challenge for multi-taskers! Each member must successfully dress in outdoor clothing and gear via a clothing relay and then navigate obstacle course while they're suited up.
X-Country Ski Challenge
Two members must successfully gear up and "ski" to other side of bowl, retrieve puzzle pieces. Puzzle is then assembled by remaining two team members.

Smart Hiker Challenge
Locate your friendly smart hiker volunteer on a trail and correctly answer the questions he or she asks about hiking gear or leave-no-trace hiking.
Knot-Tying Challenge
Think all the way back to summer camp on Lake Whatchagimmee: Teams earn points for learning (or remembering) how to tie four different knots - as well as what each knot is used for – and then tying up one lucky team members as a test.
Boathouse Scavenger Challenge
Are you a word person or a math person? Everybody comes in handy for this one: Unscramble five 'fishy' word jumbles and write the appropriate price for each item.
Anthony's Picture Challenge
Jumping picture = synchronized jumping. Find a person to take a picture of your team jumping as high as you all can in front of the Anthony's sign. All members must be off the ground in the photo for points to be awarded.
Teams might want to practice their jumping picture, it's harder than it looks!
