Skateparks are for everyone -- there's no rule saying that you have to go fast or skate vertical, just have fun. So grab your board, bike or in-line skates and head out to one of Metro Parks' skateparks.


Skatepark at Stewart Heights Park

6,500 square feet of concrete street obstacles
Opened in January 2010
Designed by Grindline Skateparks, the street run contains various ledges, quarters, a small punk wall, euro-gap, and bank walls.


Skatepark at Norpoint
4015 Norpoint Way NE
5,550 square feet
Will be open October 2010
Features: cantilevered quarter pipe, small pool bowl with pool coping, raised triangle, textured banks, stairs, steel rails


Skatepark at Heidelberg Davis Park
4500 South 19th Street
8,000 square feet
Opened in Fall 1996
This skatepark features a half pipe, quater pipes, three sided and four sided pyramids, a trick ramp, manual pad and a flat rail. This park is a mixture of concrete and steel ramps.


Skate Spots & Dots at McKinley Park
907 Upper Park Street
Opened October 2009
Skate spots and dots were added to provide a range of opportunities for both beginners and skilled skaters to enjoy hours of active recreation.
