Interns must:
• Be connected with a two or four year educational organization.
• Be able to commit to the minimum internship of 120 hours.
• Provide Metro Parks Tacoma with all the guidelines required by their educational organization in advance.
• Meet the same screening requirments as any volunteer.
Compensation:
interns at Metro Parks Tacoma serve without compensation, unless the candidate is a work study student and the position is one that the agency would normally hire and pay part-time staff to fulfill.
