There are five ways to register for classes:

1) Online Registration!
Skip the lines and save yourself time by registering for you and your family online! Visit our Online Registration page to begin.
2) Mail In:
Send registration Form and payment by check or credit card to Metro Parks Tacoma, Attn: Recreation, 4702 South 19th Street, Tacoma, Washington 98405.
Please do not send cash. Make checks payable to Metro Parks Tacoma.
3) Fax In:
Fax your registration Form with VISA/MC/DISCOVER credit card information to (253) 305-1005.
Your registration will be processed the next day.
Reminder: please print clearly.
4) Walk In:
The registration desk at
Metro Parks Headquarters,
4702 South 19 Street,
open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
5) Phone In:
Phone in your registration at (253) 305-1030 / TTY (253)759-9286
Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
If you fill out the registration Form in advance, we can help you more quickly.
Please have your VISA/MC/DISCOVER credit card ready as well.

ACCOMMODATION REQUEST

Metro Parks Tacoma strives toward providing inclusive programs to all community members. People of all abilities are invited to consider registering for any recreational program Metro Parks Tacoma has to offer provided they meet the minimum eligibility requirements. We can usually build customized support to suit your needs.

To request an accommodation please allow 10 business days prior to the start of the course. You may request via email, mail or phone:

REFUNDS

All Metro Parks Tacoma programs come with a satisfaction guarantee. Refund requests must be made in writing. After the start of the class/activity, refunds may be granted on a pro-rated basis when requested prior to the last day of the class/activity. (See exception regarding teams/leagues below).

Metro Parks Tacoma may apply and communicate special refund conditions for activities, which may result in the customer receiving a refund of less than the amount paid. If special refund conditions apply, they will be noted on your receipt. No refunds will be given for missed classes. For questions about refunds please call 253-305-1022.

Teams/Leagues
No refunds may be granted to participants after the season's schedule has been created.

Cancelled Programs
When an activity is cancelled by Metro Parks, registrants will receive a full refund or credit.

WAITING LISTS HAVE BENEFITS!

Many of our classes fill early, but we do keep waiting lists. It is worthwhile to put your name on the waiting list, as spaces often become available before the class begins or second classes and activities are planned.

To put yourself or family on a waiting list:
• Go to "register online"
• Find the activity you are interested in.
• If there is a "waitlist" button then the course is available for waitlist.
• You can add yourself or your family members to the waiting list by clicking this button.
• You will not pay for the course until you are contacted by a staff member and are actually enrolled into the course.
• Metro Parks Recreation staff will contact you as soon as a space becomes available. We thank you for your patience and support!
