Regular Meetings
The Board meets at 6 pm on the second and fourth Mondays of each month in the Board Room at Metro Parks main office at 4702 South 19 Street unless announced otherwise. Study sessions begin at 5:30 pm.
Work Sessions
The Board also meets at 5:30 pm on the 3rd and 5th (if there is one) Mondays of each month in the main office upstairs conference room. The format is a 'Work Session.' (no public comment)

Park Board
A five member Board of Park Commissioners governs Metro Parks Tacoma and is the policy determining body for the park district. Citizens of the City of Tacoma and areas of Brown's Point and Dash Point elect the Board members. Commissioners serve six-year, staggered terms and elect a president and clerk each January.
