Facility Closure Guidelines:

Metro Parks will use the Tacoma School District closure schedule as a guide when determining MPT facility closures and program cancelations.

• If Tacoma schools are closed or on late start due to weather, all Metro Parks' programs at community centers will be canceled until noon.
  
  Closure status will be posted below and on the phone message line at 305-1062 with updates occurring at Noon and as needed throughout the day.
  
  
• Other closures: If there is a need for facility closures on a weekend or for a reason that doesn't affect schools, updates will occur on a site-by-site basis. This page and the phone line (305-1062) will be updated as information is received.
