People's Pool

People's Pool is currently closed due to structural issues.

People's Community Center has significant structural issues over the pool portion of the building. 

Although we have some data about the necessary upgrades needed to the building, the City is currently doing a comprehensive building audit as part of the revised MPT & City inter-local agreement and facility transition plan.

People's Pool, located in the Hilltop area of Tacoma on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, is an indoor, year-round facility. It is a 25-meter, six-lane pool featuring a minimum depth of 3 feet and a maximum depth of 11 feet and a 1-meter diving board.
