Recently I have been focusing on adding fibers into my work and on the use of found objects combined with metal and wirework. It is all part of a process of sculpting pieces of "our" lives into unique personal embellishments rich in texture, color and symbolism." |
Sharon Carrwww.sharoncarrstudio.com Painting//acryclic & oil painting on gallery wrapped canvas & reproductions "Vibrant, spontaneous, celebratory painting inspired by her love of color and images from the natural world, especially the orchard pond and garden. My latest work, in oil and or acrylic on canvas, is an emotional impressionistic response to my subjects. The spiritual imperative of my mid sixties is to be attentive to beauty. Painting helps me to do that." |
