About Us: Outdoor Adventure is a grant funded program from the City of Tacoma that was started in 1992. This program is centered around teaching outdoor skills and leadership skills to at risk teens in Tacoma. We strive to enrich the lives of the community's youth through adventure opportunities and outdoor education.
The Outdoor Adventure program also provides Family Adventures, Specialized Populations Adventures and community events.
Mission Statement: Outdoor adventures operates under the philosophy that all participants will be enriched through outdoor education and adventure opportunities. Through skill development and instruction, positive role models, and successful experiences in outdoor activities, participants will experience increased self-esteem, develop trust in others, and grow in team building and social skills.
