Registration closes Thursday August 7, Midnight

Run/walk this scenic 1-mile or 5k at Point Defiance Park. Contrary to the name the run is open to all ages!

New 1-Mile Distance!
The 1M run is geared towards children but adults can run with their kids to help develop new runners and provide families with a fitness activity they can do together.

We recommend an eight year old minimum for the run. Youth wanting to run the 5K are encouraged to do so (at the 5K registration fee).

For Those Over 21
The post-race social will be held at the Unicorn Tavern with activities hosted by Metro Parks Staff.
Fun games with giveaways are in store for those that attend!  The beer, other drinks and/or food are on you. Children are not permitted at this social.

The Unicorn Tavern is located a few blocks away from Point Defiance at 5302 N 49th Street (cross street is Baltimore).

Race Routes
The 1M and 5K courses begin near the front of the park in the open grass area by the statue. The route includes views of the rose garden, Pagoda, duck pond, and the waterfront with a long portion of the 5K including the promenade leading to Owen Beach. The 1M will have a turnaround at a point along the promenade.

Parking
Parking is available in the School of Math and Science Institute (SAMI) lot near the Go-Karts. Strollers are not possible on this course.
