Pub Run Series:
Run to the Top is the second of four 5k events in our Pub Run Series! Each 5k is open to adults ages 21 and older and includes post-race festivities.
Are you tough enough?
This is Tacoma's toughest, most gritty, most hilly 5k...and you'll love every second of it!
Run to the Top on July 13 has been called Tacoma's toughest, most gritty, most hilly 5k—and runners and walker of all types will love every second of it!
Ongoing renovations by a dedicated group of park volunteers have made McKinley Park a wonderful place to run on a summer evening. Race participants will enjoy a shady route on 8-ft wide trails with views of Tacoma. A refreshing waterfall runs near the trails and may tempt summertime runners to ignore the race clock and cool off.
The course winds around McKinley Park from bottom to top and although it is one of our most challenging events it’s also one of the most fun.
Afterward we'll meet up for post-race celebrations, trivia and prizes at the Top of Tacoma Bar and Cafe.
Entry fee includes tech t-shirt plus a collector's beer glass for first 100 to pick up their packet!
