Community effort developed this small play area from a vacant lot, giving neighborhood kids a safe place to play.
Sawyer Tot Lot is .54 acres.
PARK IMPROVEMENTS
2006-2008 - Playground equipment was replaced, basketball court was improved and park sign, fencing, benches, tables and maxi-can were installed. The design consultant was DDLA and the contractor was B&H Construction. Work was funded by the Parks Improvement Bond Measure, approved by the citizens of Tacoma in November of 2005.
