Major elements include an event lawn, farmer's market area, entry/performance plaza, future pavilion, restroom and playground/sprayground area. The design has a nature and adventure theme. Natural rock elements will be placed throughout the area and some will contain water features for the spray area. Plant borders will contain grass varieties that mimic wave action. The slides in the play area will be built into an earth-formed hill. Bidding is targeted for June of 2013 with construction complete in March of 2014.
