HISTORY
Most of this park was originally part of the Spanaway Lake and Flume Line right-of-way purchased by the City of Tacoma from the Tacoma Light and Water Company in 1893. The City quit using this for water supply purposes and set aside the land as park and parkway in February 1905. The 80'x40' wading pool was dedicated June 19, 1951.
