CAMPS AT THE TACOMA NATURE CENTER

The Tacoma Nature Center is located at 1919 S. Tyler Street in Tacoma.  Each camp includes indoor and outdoor activities to suit all ages and interests. There are a maximum of 12 children for each camp so register early.

All Things Green
Ages 6-7 or 8-10, $175
Learn and practice how to live a "Green" life with earth-friendly habits and a special look at our green neighbors, both plants and wildlife.

Nature Detectives

Use the special tools of a detective to discover and identify the animals living at Snake Lake and around the Pacific Northwest through nature hikes, science lab, games, crafts and personal field journals.

Sea to Shore

Get the underwater scoop on amazing vreatures of the ponds, creeks, tidepools and ocean. Hikes, games, crafts, and a science lab will bring you into this wet and wild world. Play an important role in protecting the nurseries of turtles and tadpoles.

CAMPS AT THE ADRIANA HESS AUDUBON CENTER 

There are no camps at the Adriana Hess Audubon Center this summer.

CAMPS AT SWAN CREEK PARK

The same great camp you would expect at the Tacoma Nature Center, just at a different location. This special park, the largest green space in Tacoma after Point Defiance Park, is near Portland Avenue. Meet at Lister Elementary.

Swan Creek Adventure Camp

Explore Swan Creek Park's forest and creek with hands-on activities, games and scientific investigations while making friends and having fun.

Field Trip with Tacoma Nature Center
Ages 8-12, $45/$40 TNC Member
Ride the bus with campers and TNC staff on this special one-day adventure to explore Puget Sound wildlife habitats and get hands-on experience with wildlife biologists and nature specialists. A campfire lunch, all supplies and admissions are provided. Enjoy one of our popular field trips in the great outdoors!
