Get a taste of life in the 1800s!
Fort Nisqually Living History Museum's re-enactors will serve up a day out of 1855 with a pinch of history, a dash of cooking and a smidgen of good old-fashioned fun.

Immerse yourself in cooking techniques, tableware and day-to-day life of the 1800s.

Enjoy the “competition” between the fort’s workers as they participate in a cooking contest.  All buildings will be open and re-enactors in 1850s attire will be waiting to share their knowledge and skills with you!
