After Hours at Fort Nisqually
We are taking DIY back in time!
Join us this summer for three evenings of "make and take" 19th century crafts. This is a chance to try your hand at scrimshaw, candle making, leatherwork, tinsmithing, felting, and more! There will be a cash bar, food truck, and live music to set the mood. Grab some friends, enjoy a beverage, explore the museum's historic buildings, and make something cool!

Enter the fort by candlelight and embark on an epic adventure through time in Tacoma’s newest escape room experience. Trapped: Escape Fort Nisqually is a high energy suspense game torn from the pages of history that challenges you and your friends to explore a trapper's hidden secrets as you uncover clues, solve puzzles, unlock your way to freedom, and escape without being caught. Team members sift through documents and artifacts in one of the Fort's historic buildings racing against the clock to piece together the information they’ll need to unlock the door and reemerge into the 21st century. Trapped can accommodate 8 people per game and lasts approximately 1 hour.
