Read2Me is a one-to-one tutoring program that helps developing young readers reach benchmark reading goals by the end of the third grade.

Volunteer tutors are paired with a first, second, or third grader, who is reading below grade level, for 45 minutes a week during the school year.

Tutors use a variety of tools to help emerging readers learn their sight words, comprehension, identify new words, gain confidence in their reading skills, and more!

If you, or someone you know, would be interested in getting involved as a tutor with the Read2Me program please contact Kerrisan Meyer at (253) 383-3951 or kmeyer@tacomacommunityhouse.org
