Adaptive Programs

Around 21 million Americans are currently living with a physical disability; three million of those are under the age of 21, and fewer than ten percent of them participate in regular physical activity. That changes today with you!

Our Adaptive Recreation activities focus on the social and physical benefits of recreation and can range from kayaking and camping to wheelchair basketball and goalball.

Adaptive Programs Include:
  • Youth Wheelchair Basketball Click here for more info. 
    • Off-Season Activities. The season starts Sept.
    • Quarterly Kids Night Out (See Youth Programs tab for more details)
  • Wheelchair Basketball 
    • Wednesdays 6-8pm at Boys & Girls Club of Puget Sound

  • Goalball 
    • Saturdays 8:00-10am at Boys & Girls Club of Puget Sound
  • High-Performance Training - Thursdays 530-7pm
  • Archery - Monday Evenings Year Round
  • Dances - Year Round
  • Beep Baseball - Clinics / Games

We always prefer new participants and athletes to make contact with our team before coming to a practice so that we can prepare coaches to be ready with equipment for the individual to put them in the most successful situation possible.
