Goalball was created in 1946 to help rehabilitate injured veterans after World War II. Goalball has now blossomed into one of the Paralympics most popular team sports. Geared towards individuals with visual impairments, players use masks and a specialized ball to score on their opponents. Join the only team in Tacoma and practice and compete throughout the season.
The program is also a Paralympic Sport Club and offers unique competitive and recreational athletics for people seeking individual sports like track & field and archery along with team sports like wheelchair basketball and goalball. All geared and designed to put the athletes in a successful situation to help achieve their goals.
