Built originally as a hotel in 1911, Titlow Lodge is a recently refurbished craftsman style building located in a 75-acre beachfront park on Puget Sound near the Tacoma Narrows.

The Lodge has ample space for gatherings up to 220 people or banquet seating for 140 people and features a dance floor and kitchen facilities.

Open House
4-7 pm
1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month

  • The Lodge will be staffed and open for viewing. Come visit, take a tour and have your questions answered.
  • If you are unable to attend an open house please call and we are happy to schedule a private viewing for you.

Overall facility appearance and condition at Metro Parks Tacoma facilities may change between venue viewing and the day of the scheduled event.

Decorations, Rental Attendant


No tape, staples, or pushpins on walls and floors please. Any damage done to the building is the renter’s responsibility. Candles in enclosed containers only.

Rental Terms & Cancelations


Reservations are taken up to 12 months in advance. Four hour minimum rental fee required to secure date. 4 hour minimum rental required. All events are required to dismiss by midnight. A refundable damage deposit is required.

Any additional hours, a damage deposit (refundable after event, provided no damage), rental contract, banquet permit (if serving alcohol), and venue contract is required at least one month prior to the scheduled event.


If the renter initiates a cancelation in order to receive a 50% refund, the cancelation notice must be received a minimum of 151 days prior to the event. No refunds will be made with less than a 150 day notice or due to weather or seasonal conditions not initiated by Metro Parks Tacoma.

Rental Advisory

Please remember that your facility rental is for the building only. The rental client and Metro Parks Tacoma cannot reserve parking spaces or restrict other people’s activities in the park nearby unless the activities are illegal.

Our parks are open for public use and your experience may include:

  • Various forms of wildlife
  • Loud music or park patrons
  • Dogs running off-leash and/or dogs excessively barking
  • People enjoying the park in close proximity to your rental space.
