PARK IMPROVEMENTS
2008 - Replaced fencing at tennis court and baseball backstop/dugout area; resurfaced tennis and sport courts; replaced slide and provided new curbing and play surface at play area; re-paved parking lot; replaced irrigation system and improved turf areas; provided two new picnic tables, litter receptacle, honey bucket enclosure and park sign; and completed Madrona Grove improvements. Work was funded by the Parks Improvement Bond Measure, approved by the citizens of Tacoma in November of 2005.
