Nature After Hours - Slugs & Mugs
Friday, April 19 (6:00pm - 8:00pm)
Join the Point Defiance Park Rangers for an evening hike followed by an adult beverage around the fireplace at the Pagoda on Trolley Lane. This month's theme is slugs & snails!
From local heroes to invading enemies, get to know the gastropods – also known as slugs and snails – who call Point Defiance Park home, including Washington’s largest species of land snail! Find out what makes them more special than you might think.
Please dress for the weather and wear trail appropriate shoes. We will be using headlamps with red lights - if you own one feel free to bring it, otherwise we will have some available for you to borrow.
Meet at the Pagoda at Point Defiance Park.
This event requires some walking on uneven terrain.
Participants must be 21 years of age or older. Please bring valid ID to present at check in.
$22 per person. Meet at the Point Defiance Pagoda.
