Marcus Chambers is an elite American sprinter who runs for Nike and Team USA. In 2020 he will enter his third season as a professional athlete and will compete to represent the USA in the 2020 Olympic Games. He is a specialist in the 400m who attended the University of Oregon where he was a 10x all American, PAC 12 Champion and NCAA Champion. Giving back to his community is Marcus’ first priority beyond track. A native of Tacoma, WA, he founded an AAU basketball program focused on overcoming adversity; he regularly speaks at local schools, and he dedicates his social media presence to be a positive inspiration for his followers.
Louis Davis Jr is the CEO of OnSight253Fitness A new fitness facility in Tacoma that opened in November 2019. Alongside his good friend Desmond Trufant they launched the nonprofit Tacoma KidZ. In the last year they have done a handful of events from free workouts, turkey drives, backpack & coat drives and Christmas shopping events for those in the community who are less fortunate. He feels as if he is a product of a village in Tacoma that helped to mold him through sports & community so it was in his nature to pursue fitness and give back in the way he felt he could. He was born and raised in Tacoma, attended Jefferson Elementary, Truman middle school, and Wilson high school. He played all types of sports growing up and received a football scholarship to Central Washington University. After 2 years at CWU and 2 years at Portland State University, he moved back to Tacoma in 2015 and started to get back into the community via coaching at Wilson High school as well as helping out with the Trufant family foundation. He decided to become a fitness trainer as a side hobby and it eventually grew into the idea of opening a facility for people from all walks of life in 2019. His goal is to grow OnSight253Fitness and Tacoma KidZ into a staple in the community that represents family, health, and lifting one another up.

Overcoming Barriers to Healthy Living
Healthy living starts with good information. What constitutes a healthy diet? What’s the best way to exercise? How to handle stress?
And today people know the difference between an apple and a piece of apple pie, between going out dancing or watching Dancing with the Stars! But knowing the information isn’t acting on the information. Why this chasm between information and action? Because information alone is not enough. If it were, we’d be a nation of non-smokers.
In this dynamic and inspirational program, Joe Piscatella provides practical solutions to overcoming barriers and making healthy changes that last a lifetime. Audiences learn how to get started and stay the course.
In this seminar, participants will learn:
- How barriers keep us from living a healthy lifestyle
- What are the most common barriers to healthy living
- How the Mind-Body connection can overcome barriers

Mr. Piscatella’s body of work has created a recognized brand because it puts a human face of the practical science of healthy living. He uses humor and an upbeat presentation style to explain how to balance healthy eating, effective exercise, stress management and a positive attitude to optimize well-being. His audience receives information and take-home tools, and he motivates them to put the message to work.
Mr. Piscatella knows the science of healthy living, but he understands the practical aspect as well. At age 32, he went through coronary bypass surgery. The prognosis was not good (one doctor predicted he would not live to age 40.) But he put his effort into developing healthy lifestyle habits and it has worked. He has celebrated the 41st anniversary of that surgery, making him one of the longest living survivors of bypass surgery and a wonderful example of the effectiveness of healthy lifestyle habits.
