Third Grade and Beyond
Guided tours are offered to groups year-round. An educator in period clothing will teach your students about the history of Fort Nisqually as part of a global fur trade and agricultural business. Students will visit our historic buildings where the focus is on daily life of Fort Nisqually's 19th century employees and their families. Each tour includes hands-on opportunities.
Groups of 15 - 90 students can be accommodated on these tours. Larger groups should reserve two adjacent tour hours. (TIP: In nice weather, you may choose to have one group picnic at the neighboring rentable picnic shelter while the other group takes a tour of the fort).
