Erik turned golf professional in 1995 and has been with Meadow Park Golf Course since July 2008.

His prior professional experience included Mesquite Golf & Country Club, Desert Dunes Golf Club & Bear Creek Country Club where he was heavily involved in adult & junior player development programs, clinics & camps.

Experience & Achievements
Shane began playing golf at the age of 10 when his dad took up the game. He fell in love with the game immediately because of the challenge and the attention to all the details it requires.

He played golf for Enumclaw High School, attended the Professional Golf Management program at Walla Walla Community College, and after working in the golf industry for many years discovered his true passion was teaching. He has been teaching all ages and skill levels ever since.

He has been involved with junior golf locally, as Head Golf Coach for Gig Harbor Girls Golf, Coach for The First Tee of South Puget Sound and coaching the PGA Jr. League.

Teaching Philosophy
Building strong fundamentals, developing a passion for golf and learning how to play the game come first in order to have to drive to make any progress in your technique or skills. This is a base for your future success.
