Partners

Through a CHIP-in agreement, Annie Wright School supplements existing park service with litter pickup and removal, lawn mowing and trimming, hard court blowing and maintenance, in-field preparation and maintenance and all utility costs associated with the park. In return, Annie Wright gets priority use of the field. The school currently utilizes the park for their PE and athletic programs. For more information, visit Annie Wright’s website.

Not an off-leash dog park

In an uncontrolled area like Garfield Park, off-leash dogs represent a safety hazard for park users and have added to an already difficult turf management problem. Off-leash dog parks can be found at Point Defiance, Wapato, and Rogers Parks.
